The second day of the World championship of Croatian emigrant clubs saw NK Pajde Möhlin (Switzerland) winning their first game against Croatia Stuttgart 2-0. Both goals were scored in the first half and both by the same player – Prljić.
Pajde are a club connected to the family of famous Croatian football player, Ivan Rakitić – his father Luka is a president of the club.
In another group B match between Canberra and Croatia Malmö (Sweden) the final score was 0-0.
In group A, the Team of Croats from Vojvodina (Serbia) were winners against Croatia Villefranche (France) 3-1. Goals were scored by Mihaljević, Zeljko, Jurisa for the winning team and Varela for the losers.
On Sunday, Toronto Croatia won the opening game of the tournament 5-2 against Sydney United 58.
The championship will continue on Wednesday. Team of Croats from Vojvodina will face Sydney and in another match of group A, Toronto Croatia will play Croatia Villefranche. In group B, Pajde will play Croatia Malmö and Canberra will face Croatia Stuttgart.
